Taco Tuesday - Journal Entry

Hi there, the name is Milo. Many individuals know me as the taco kid but you know what they don’t know about me is how I actually formed as a taco. Life as a taco is like a never ending cycle. Lets begin from the step where I was a taco. I started off as a I guess from flour?  My mother never told, but that’s what I’m guessing. From there thats how the outer part of me came along, my shell. Sometimes when I explain to my friends that I started off with a shell, they think that I came from a shell fish family, which is completely false. Anyways, where was I? Oh right! So after that I was put into my “home” which is just a taco de mar box with a bunch of other empty taco shells. I have to admit, sometimes I would feel just a tad uncomfortable just because I feel a little naked without the filling in me, but I guess it doesn’t matter that much because every other shell is going through the same thing. Once we get delivered to our destination I get ready to be thrown out the the big truck that we have been sitting in for the past I don’t even know. The longer we take to get there the better! I love meeting new friends. On the ride there, since every one is so close, like literally, we tell each other horror stories that happened to our ancestors and how they eventually became a soft taco. Its not fun being a soft taco, you really have a disadvantage to everything. Everything that you attepmt to do will cause you to make a tear on your shell. Although many people claim that hard taco shells are more fragile, I would like to beg the differ because in reality we are only fragile when we get toasted, if not we are stale as an old chip sitting on the chair. I personally prefer my friends who are the beef, tomato and lettuce to come fresh from the farmers market. I really dislike those who are like genetically modified to be like five times bigger then the actual shell, which is me. I the shell is what combines everything to become a delicious crunchy taco! Without me there would be never tacos available. We are only a couple blocks away from taco bell now, maybe one day i will end up on your plate on tuesday! Hope to see you then, bye for now.
